Check out the entire Nike NBA & Nike Dunk High collection by Ambush

Yoon Ahn has made history with this Nike Dunk High and clothing capsule to become the very first female designer to work on a collection with both Nike and NBA.

Is Yoon Ahn at the top? No doubt. The Ambush designer is on a roll. Whether it be her collaborations that streetwear fans go wild for or her jewellery designer role at Dior. The influential designer can now add another line to her CV. She’s just officially unveiled her collection in partnership with Nike and the NBA. There have been countless teasers for the eye-catching Nike Dunk Highs all year round and Ambush fans can finally get their hands on a pair this month. But that’s not all. The drop is joined by a statement clothing collection in tribute to the Los Angeles Lakes and Brooklyn Nets.

This is a never-before-seen take on the Nike Dunk High. The slender platform leather sneakers have cushioned collars and heels. The rubber swoosh isn’t just raised but zooms off the shoe along with the carefully-placed clip on the heel. The heel and tongue feature AMBUSH logos. It’s all about black and white when it comes to colourways.

Yoon Ahn has brought us a clothing collection in a true celebration of basketball culture. “I took inspiration from the ’90s and oversized menswear pieces, along with all of the female artists that I’ve loved growing up and still do. I wanted to transfer their energy into the whole collection. I made the jersey fitted so it hugs the female body nicely, and created the pants so that they open up on the sides. Sometimes they can seem almost like a dress, depending on how you coordinate them,” she says. The pieces in Nets (black and white) and Lakers colours (purple, yellow and white) include two logo-emblazoned oversize puffers, long-sleeve tops and joggers with press studs.

The Nike x AMBUSH NBA collection launches worldwide on December 11th.
