adidas x Ivy Park: Beyoncé signs ‘Rodeo’ collection

Beyoncé pays homage to her Texas roots with an extensive adidas x Ivy Park collection inspired by the world of cowboys and cowgirls. To mark the occasion, Beyoncé also unveiled her first drop for kids, featuring her three children Blue Ivy, 9, and twins Rumi and Sir, 4, in a new campaign.

The three-stripes brand alongside Beyoncé “celebrates the often overlooked history of black cowboys and cowgirls and their ongoing influence and impact on the American rodeo. If we remember her sister Solange Knowles’ splendid tribute to cowboys with the album and short film “When I get home” in 2019, it’s Queen Be’s turn to pay tribute to the city of Houston and its rich heritage. The range features a modern western wardrobe including 58 pieces, ranging from jumpsuits and denim sets to multiple bodysuits and cow print pieces, chaps, hats and of course sneakers. Among them? UltraBOOST, IVP Forum Mid and the highly anticipated Super Super Sleek.

The official campaign features a fiery Beyoncé as well as R&B singer Snoh Aalegra, model Paloma Elsesser, country star Orville Peck, champion lasso player Emily Diana Alba, and Texas rappers Monaleo and Tobe Nwigwe. A clip also features actor Glynn Turman, known for his roles in Fargo, The Wire, How to Get Away With Murder and of course Cooley High. Among the various video clips that present the collection, the public was also able to discover that kids will also be able to wear this adidas x Ivy Park collection. I am delighted that IVY PARK x adidas is now offering children’s clothing with this drop. On our family holidays, we like to coordinate our outfits. My kids are usually on set with me for shoots, and we’d find ourselves dressing them in XS sizes so we could match,” Beyoncé said in her famous interview with Harpers Bazaar.
