Fendi x Kim Kardashian, the collaboration that is causing a stir on the web

The rumours emerged several weeks ago and now they are finally confirmed: Kim Kardashian is going to team up with the luxurious Italian fashion house Fendi. For this unique SKIMS capsule collection, which will be available at the beginning of November, the logomania is invited on bodysuits, underwear and down jackets.

It’s a collaboration between two Kims that will soon see the light of day. Indeed, the artistic director of Fendi Kim Jones is joining forces with Kim Kardashian and her brand SKIMS for a luxurious shapewear collection. To emphasize the body’s shape while putting comfort first, this logomania second skin range is adorned with ultra-stretchy materials and retains the essence of Kim Kardashian’s brand: inclusiveness and diversity. The collection is adapted to all skin tones and is aimed at all body types, from XXS to 5XL.

Among the pieces offered, we find long-sleeved bodysuits or tank tops, sculpting cyclists, underpants, tights and underwear, second-skin effect jumpsuits or tight-fitting dresses… All of this is done in a neutral and tone-on-tone chromatic palette such as khaki, camel, and chocolate, or black and white. Some red pieces enhance the offer.

If many would have been hard pressed to bet on the American star’s brand after a bad start (remember “Kimono”, the label’s first name being accused of cultural appropriation), SKIMS is well and truly making a name for itself 3 years later. This summer, the brand was even chosen to dress the American athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The Fendi x Kim Kardashian collection will be available in limited edition from November 9th on the fendiskims.com website and in selected Fendi boutiques.
