With La Flame’s birthday approaching on April 30, fans of the rapper are eagerly awaiting the day, which could be celebrated in style. The release of the Air Jordan 6 x Travis Scott “British Khaki”? How about his new album Utopia?
An iconic silhouette that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, the Air jordan 6 is about to get a new collaboration with the Houston rapper. After the “Medium Olive” iteration in 2019, it is the “British Khaki” version that, according to all the rumours, should see the light of day on 30 April 2021. A date that would coincide with Travis Scott’s birthday. The upper of this new iteration is constructed from premium beige textured suede while small utility-inspired pockets adorn the ankle collar.
Nike Air and Jordan branding is featured on the heel, tongue, insoles and outsole. Travis Scott’s famous “Casctus Jack” motif is featured on the tightening system and on the right heel in an infrared colourway.
The shoe’s design is completed by a beige and white midsole combined with translucent (and glow-in-the-dark?) rubber elements on the outsole. The sneaker should also come with two sets of laces, beige and infrared.
For now, the SNKRS app doesn’t show any clues on its drop schedule but some retailers like Feature have confirmed the release. Plus, as fans know, Travis Scott is a great surprise specialist. Between the highly anticipated release of his Utopia album and this Air Jordan 6 x Travis Scott “British Khaki” collaboration, the end of the month could be eventful.
