Maison Margiela and Reebok unveil the latest addition to their successful collaboration: a sneaker inspired by Spartan sandals.
Always at the forefront of the most iconic collabs of the 2021 vintage, the Maison Margiela x Reebok summit meeting unveils a highly anticipated new opus: its Reebok Classic Leather Tabi High, a hybrid fusion of the masterpieces that have made the respective legends of both brands.
Designed by John Galliano, the cleverly deconstructed shoe pays homage to gladiatorial sandals: with the iconic split toe of the Tibi and the cult design of the Reebok Classic high, this new generation urban spartan is a Sportswear UFO, and should have many collectors in a tizzy. Another specificity is its falsely worn material and its now famous Bianchetto, with a black base covered with white paint that gives the impression of having been applied by hand.
On sale since June 18 on the Reebok and Maison Margiela websites.
