Off-White appoints Ibrahim Kamara as Art and Image director

Off-White has just appointed stylist and editor Ibrahim Kamara as the label’s first Art and Image director 🙏

While Virgil Abloh founded Off-White in 2013, his death last November left behind a huge void and heavy sadness in the fashion world. The brand announced that the artistic direction would now be managed by a collective of creatives. Among them? Ibrahim Kamara, stylist and editor-in-chief of the famous magazine Dazed.

Born in Sierra Leone and living in London since he was 11, the man who studied at Central Saint Martins is officially joining the Off-White ranks. He will oversee the art direction and further develop the influence and vision of the collections, from image to content of the brand.

“I am honoured (…) to be part of the team that will tell the rest of the story that Virgil started to write for all of us,” said Ibrahim Kamara.
