Riot Games and Fenty Beauty, the American star’s cosmetics brand, are joining forces to celebrate the launch of Riot’s very first TV series, called “Arcane”, which landed on Netflix this weekend. And guess what? The animated series is set in Runeterra, the world of League of Legends.
After LVMH’s successful entry into the world of video games, including a Louis Vuitton x League of Legends collaboration that fortified the close link between fashion and gaming, it’s now the turn of businesswoman Rihanna to step up. “Fenty Beauty is curating beauty looks through Riot Games and this content aims to celebrate diversity and beauty in all its forms – including in animation!” explained Riot Games.
As a result, the two entities hosted an event this weekend in Los Angeles that allowed visitors to have a “VIP beauty experience”. The press release also added that this association “will push the boundaries of collaboration throughout this partnership, both in and out of the game.
