The subversive Chinese label Sankuanz has teamed up with Crocs for a capsule collection. For the occasion, the famous Classic Clog is available in three colours and is completely reinterpreted in a futuristic way while emphasizing a punk aesthetic.
The success of Crocs is no longer in question. As one of the most adored silhouettes on the streetwear planet, with many collaborations with artists or prestigious brands such as Balenciaga, the classic Clog has been reinvented many times. Now, the Chinese brand Sankuanz has begun its partnership with three iterations of the model. The rubber clog gets a chunky look thanks to an XXL notched safety sole, which is strapped onto the classic clog twice.
Indeed, that famous “Shoes for shoes” layering concept initiated by the Chinese label in 2018 seems to have become a boldly affixed signature. Available in black, white or acid green, the shoe is also adorned with gold and silver Jibbitz. One of them is none other than the Sankuanz logo, while the second embodies the dragon symbol, also very present in the brand’s DNA.
This limited edition Crocs x SANKUANZ will be launched on August 5th in shops and on the Crocs website.
