Jun 21, 2021 | Footwear

Teased for many months, the extensive Nike Dunk Low x Off-White™ collection imagined by Virgil Abloh is officially going to see the light of day. To copy this ultra-coveted collaboration “The 50” which will be available from August 9, the swoosh brand has decided to privilege the most committed SNKRS community members by offering exclusive access. Explanations.

A brand new collection

Good news! Although leaks have been denied, the famous Nike x Off-White collection around the Nike Dunk Low will be released this summer. Billboards around the world and the news revealed on the SNKRS app suggest that it will be released soon, on August 9th 2021. The operation will take place over several days.

The 50 collection features 48 variations of the Nike Dunk Low Sail/Grey. The distinction between each iteration is made in the laces in multiple colours as well as a numbered plate on the midsole. Only two versions will differ from the others, one in black, white and purple with a silver swoosh and one in white with a yellow sole and silver swoosh.

Sales to the faithful only

Since its launch in 2015, the Nike SNKRS app has offered fans the chance to get their hands on unreleased models by drawing lots, to live immersive experiences or to discover the behind-the-scenes creation and the most beautiful stories of the products. In short, all the ingredients to delight a loyal community. However, the brand with the Swoosh had also launched the “exclusive access” which offers randomly to some users an early access (and limited in time) to copy pairs via a notification. While many were still struggling to understand the algorithm and how this holy grail works, the Beaverton-based brand has decided to clearly evolve this offer, starting with ‘The 50’ Nike Dunk Low x Off-White™ collection.
