Sophie Dherbecourt is a painter based in Paris. Originally from the north of France, she started painting in 2018. Highly inspired by Ancient Greece and mythologies, she seeks to make her generation immortal as well as their plural and complex identities. 🏺
Her works have the gift of transporting us to a completely different universe. The artist creates a contrast between our time and Antiquity by letting modern objects of everyday life appear in some of her works, such as smartphones or even pairs of trainers. 🌞
